pulley lineup

pulley lineup
Hi all,
Finally moving again on the 71 'vert 442 clone (rec'd fully disassembled, lots of boxes). I finished the engine, had no waterpump originally, so I installed one. I went to install the pulleys, they seem to be a pulley width off. This is a 455, no a/c. Any help is appreciated, along with some pics of the bracket setup for the alt and p/s. I have the assy manual, but seem to be missing some special studded bolts and spacers. I also don't know if the bypass hose is correct (straight 3/4 hose). When the thermostat housing is bolted on, the lineup is off as well (not bolted in this pic).
thanks for you help.

Looks like you have the wrong water pump. The one on your engine looks like a 5.6" snout length for 68-70 cars with AC. You need the 5.1" snout. There is also a 6.1" snout that came later on the 1973-90 cars.
Remove your wp pulley, and put a straight edge against the flange. Then measure from the face of the timing cover to the bottom of the straight edge and post your results.
