I wish I could say it was running but I haven’t gotten around to working on the car! Hopefully this year will be different!

I feel you. I figured I'd have mine in the car by now, nope. Although I have done a lot. Installed the accessories and make sure the belts line up. I have fitted the engine, headers in the car; so it all fits. Fitted the radiator. Now everything is out of the car. Cleaning the under carriage. Need the trans rebuilt, etc. Need to plumb for EFI. Maybe in 3 - 6 months it will be moving.

Getting old slows everything down. I have a friend with a high school son, the high schooler has come over on weekends to help - which has really sped things up.

And life gets in the way. Kids, wife - happy wife, happy life.

Car just went to a local fab shop to have the engine crossmember clearanced for the oil pan. After I get it back I can get the engine in the car. Hopefully I’ll be up and running by late Summer/Early Fall.

I had the car at a nearby shop but it’s sat a lot! They installed mounts for a front plate but stalled on the project after they concluded a mid plate would be too costly to justify! I’m picking the car up this Friday and going to another fab shop for another estimate! So unfortunately not much to talk about!

Halo

Which Halo did you use. Looked through tread but didn't see it mentioned.

I want to ask Mark if the halo really is required at 5800 rpm? Why I ask is my 468 has had no issues at that rpm without one a little more compression.Mark would this engine run on 91 octane? I know it has been awhile since this engine was assembled is it any closer to going in the car for some street/ racing duty? Without a doubt a very nice build .
