Power steering pulley '68 98 455 w/AC

Hi All -

I have managed to damage my power steering pump pulley while removing it on my '68 Olds 98 w/ac. The pulley measures 61/2 inches across. Is the same diameter pulley used on a Cutlass from that year?
Any thoughts welcome of course.
Thanks - Brian

If this is a single groove pulley retained with a nut and key, most of the pulleys from the late 60s/early 70s will work. The pump is in the same place on all Olds V8 motors of that vintage.

Hi Joe - It's a double groove pulley retained with a nut only.

There should be a 2 letter code on the pulley to identify it. Knowing that will make finding an appropriate replacement easier.

Sounds like the KH pulley. The trick will be to get another one w/o damaging it too. There is a way. I can get one but it has rust. Try an ePay search maybe. You need one with the keyway. Watch for the "KH" stamp and see if yours has that code. 68-70 or so all Olds with AC

You can get the Dorman power steering pulley catalog off their site and see if one of their general service replacement parts matches, or at least "close enough".
