Polyurethane Engine mount conversion

Does anyone have experience using polyurethane engine mounts on their 455 engine? All I can find are the clamshell type poly mounts, there is nothing exclusive for the 455. What is needed for a conversion to chevy type polyurethane mounts?

Uh, a Chevy motor?

The clamshell mounts use an all-metal bracket that bolts to the engine. There were only a handful of applications that used these brackets with Olds motors. They are the 1975-79 Caddy Seville with the EFI 350 Olds, the 1980-90 Caddy Fleetwood with the Olds 307 and Diesel, the 1977-79 Firebirds and Trans Ams with the Olds 350 and 403, and 1977-80 GM trucks with the Olds Diesel. The truck brackets are longer than the car brackets (frame mounts are spaced further apart) and I'm not sure if either design works in an application other than those listed.

Thanks Joe, I'll try and find some. If not I'll just put a chain down to the frame. I was just trying get stronger mounts without going the solid route. I hate the 'chain' look but it works.
