overheating your oil

I wonder if running headers /which run very tight to the oil filter will heat up the oil so significantly that it might effect oil breakdown and oil pressure? Has anybody gave any thought to this possible issue? I run 20/50 Brad penn. I do not have my headers wrapped currently.

I have had several Olds with headers. I have never worried about the headers heating the oil by the filter. Never heard of anyone having a problem like this.

Dont forget single exhaust cars had the crossover pipe right under the oil pan....dont think the engineers were too worried about it.
