new 455 in 75 Royale??
Just wondering if anybody has ever put in or has any opinions about putting a very well built, new 500hp 455 into a 75 Delta Royale w455.I know to keep the orig motor and it also would be nice having a potential replacement if something breaks on me. 500hp is twice what they put out stock, would the rest of car hold up to it? It would come from a lifelong trusted classic car expert and at very good price as well. Alright that's all thanks and fire away!!

Yeah, I've got an opinion: The car would end up with about the power level it needs to get out of its own way.
If the engine is a true 500hp, you'd probably get 0-60 in about 6 seconds, which is the same as some Acuras these days, but only IF you could keep the rear wheels from spinning.
