I have the correct exhaust manifold shroud for my 1970 Vista's 455. I can see where the slot at the top mounts to an exposed bolt on the passenger side manifold. A mounting kit I see for sale includes two bolts, and there are two slots at the bottom of the shroud, but it isn't obvious how the lower part of this thing is supposed to mount. The assembly manual has it already attached to the engine, so that's no help. Please tell me the engine doesn't need to come out to put this thing on. Thanks!

 

The slots fit over these tabs on the underside of the manifold. The ribs on the side of the manifold space the stove off enough to ensure airflow to the air cleaner.
