Mini/Small Starter

Does anyone make a smaller starter or mini starter for a 455 with space issues?

A bit pricey, I like the Power Master starters.

I got the summit brand mini starter nice and fits well and a good olds racer im friends with has had one for 10 years . I was sold on that and the price. The stock HD unit from autozone i would get 2 years from before the heat issues killed em. Nice thing was their warranty. I got 4 starters for 40 bucks lol.

Is there a certain tooth count? Someone said a chevy starter would work and price would be better.

Would this work?

They work great BUT you have to be gentle tightening the battery cable or it will work intermittently or short out, just had that happen.

Copper a sbc mini starter WILL work, looks like a good starter for a good price. Read the reviews, I bought the Summit copy of the Powermaster sbc mini starter for the Olds powered 4x4, what a POS. Problems from day one, many others the same experience and only a 90 day warranty.
