mild cam for driver

Putting together a stock high compression short block with big valve G heads and stock 4 barrel intake manifold. Carb will be a Holley 750 vac secondary. Car has headers and 3.73ish gears. Mild converter and th350. Rpm range idle-4,800
I want something that will work with stock valve train.

Would a Lunati voodoo 262/268 be a good choice
Or maybe a Comp 268H

I already have Comp double springs which are 105 lbs on the seat. They require .530 positive Teflon seals.

Talk to cutlassefi. Mark will set you up with the right grind. He did a cam for my 67 D88 with a large LSA that makes good power and excellent vacuum for the brake booster and HVAC.

would you say it’s worth upgrading the cam and lifters? I have the stock cam and lifters. The lifters are just dirty with old black oil from what I see. Might be fine after cleaning them off with some solvent. Not sure.

my car is a 64 f85 with power brakes.

Erson Hi Flow 1 if you have 9.0:1 or better. It’s 228/228@.050. If you’re above 9.5:1 then do a TQ50. Both will be easier on the valvetrain than what you listed.

9.4:1 right now without decking

what kind of power can I expect to make on a good day with the Hi Flow 1. The engine is all stock but in decent shape. 2.5” dual exhaust. At sea level.
