Melling HV oil pump with stock shaft

Well, crud. At the risk of being flamed, I installed the new HV oil pump with the stock shaft before I realized that melling offers their own. The pan is now installed with rtv and cork gasket. Do I need to pull it or will the stock shaft be okay? It seems to mate up with pump just fine but I haven't tested the distributor.

455, 30 over, wiseco pistons, ARP main studs, rod bolts, head bolts, 9.8:1 CR, HEI, stock crank, running .030 crank clearances.

I think you missed a zero on your crank clearance

Three-hundredths a little too big? Lol, yeah, seems I'm always doing that.
