Ok everyone here it goes!!!
Will a 64 394 bolt up to my 54 324 trans? I know that is to easy
I have the trans for the 64 but I thought if going to go and up grade would go 455 just thinking out loud thanks

It will be a direct bolt up. I'm not sure about the flywheel use. I think the flywheel use will bolt up also, but not sure which one. Somebody on this site should know. You might check on the "Jalopy Journal" web site.
Going to a 455 w/a T-400 trans will require a lot of work and fabrication. The 394 and the early trans will be a great combo. If after running the 394 combo for a while and decide not to like it, or some problems happen, then a 455 combo swap would something to consider.
In reading again, the 455 will NOT bolt to the 54 or the 64 trans.
