Its Heart.

Here's my engine, Just waiting for a couple trinkets and heading to the dyno. 455+.030, 11:1 CR. Ported Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Custom ground Comp Cam, Ported and matched Torker intake, Mighty Demon carb. Probably a few things I'm forgetting but my builder knows what's in there.

Got them from JGR fabricating. They are online. I've never seen another Oldsmobile with em. That's why I got them.

They are pretty nice. I'm gonna machine up some breathers and weld them in but They weren't priced out of the ballpark and I dig em. I may have to smooth the gasket mating surface too but not sure yet. That will only take a file if I do.
Plans for the car will be to look stock/origional with the stock trim. No 442 clone. I'm running 17 inch Coys wheels but that's gonna be the only non stock thing on the exterior. The drivetrain will be enhanced though.

I have seen something like those someplace, maybe over at ROP? I seem to recall that a member was making those from scratch, but could be wrong. Edelbrock heads only allow for five bolts on the covers......didn't know that.

No, the heads have all 10 holes. They can make those covers with all 10 if you want. It costa a bit more though. Don't remember how much. Like I said though, They seem to be a quality part that's a bit different than the others. I'm sprouting a chubby thinking about my engine!
