They are both good manifolds, but I like the performer.

the performer IMO is a replacment for the stock intake....A Dominator is more of a performance intake......So if I were building a stockish motor it would get the Performer.....

I have run Performers well into the low 12s btw........

Out of the Ebrock heads, 10 to 1 comp, low rpm eng 5000 - 5500.
I have a new big block street dom intake form the early 80's that I never used. I don't remember what the spec's were on the intake.

The Dominator is good from idle to 5200.

The Performer is good from idle to 5500.

So they are basically the same. If you already have a Dominator go ahead and use it.
