Help IDing a distributor

I have 2 Olds distributors that i cant ID , numbers 1111934 with date code 9E2 , and 1111981 with date code 9K8 . Any ideas ? thanks BOB .

The 934 distributor is 1969 455 2 bbl. the 981 is 1970 455 for all except 442. From a quick search

For the 1111981 see below (was also used on the 1970 SX with the L31 (TP,TQ) engine):

Found another that i cant find the info on , #1111930 , date code 9C21 , What reference book did you use to find these ? I would buy it if it is available . Thanks BOB

The 930 distributor is for 1969 350 - 4 barrel, looks to be correct for W-31 also. Just did an online search to look them up

I went to 442.com and looked up another distributor i have but it was not listed , number 1112027 , date code 0E9 . Any other sources to look at ? Thanks BOB

Hey Bob, the 1970 engine assembly manual for series ABCE does not list that one. I would check some earlier engine assmebly manuals.

My mistake , i had a box of Olds distributors and never looked at the gear , i just wrote numbers down .I would take $25 plus shipping if you want it . It turns freely and does not have any wires or cap . It has the vacuum advance but i dont know if it works . Shipping from zip 60034 . BOB . .

Did they skip any letters of the alphabet when stamping the Julian date? This is done sometimes to reduce the chances of mistaking one letter for another if the stamping/engraving is not deep enough. (my company uses 20 letters instead of the normal 26) My dist. code is 9G15, which would be July 15th of 1969... if I decoded it right. It does not fit my build date, which is the fifth week of May 1969 (it was sold in June of '69).
