I got harland sharp rockers for Olds heads years ago. I think they are S5001. While cleaning the heads up and porting more, I went to far and hit a water jacket. Sooo, looks like I'm getting some edelbrock heads. Will these rockers fit edelbrock aluminum heads? Or am I double screwed and also gotta buy new rockers?

5001 will fit on the head but geometry is less than optimal and you can wind up hitting the stud nut. Also with lift close to or over 600 the pushrod can hit the fulcrum. You can always run a test pattern to see. The best rout is 5016, never had an issue.
Get a set of 5016. Geometry is beautiful. They have more curve in the rocker. I also had them tool the bottoms of mine. Help's clear the stud nut. I used them with stock valve covers and worked perfectly.
Rick,
I would not depend on that because apparently Edelbrock has changed something on the latest heads. Like I said above Harland Sharp is supposed to be working on a rocker for the latest heads but I don't know if they have them done or not.
A guy at harland sharp got back to me and said they are recommending S4102 for the new Edelbrock heads
Don't forget Mark has custom HS rockers that he had made with the ratio stamped on them, they are scalloped, I have a set and there wonderful. I'm just not sure if they will work on the new gen III heads.
I had one fall apart (axle and wheel) and couldn't get another single to replace it because they have to wait for another production run to pop up on the schedule. Jesel had me carry spares in 2 weeks. Membership, indeed, has its privileges.

Not sure who you spoke with there, but that rocker is only for the heads i’m doing, they have longer valves in them which changes the geometry a bit.
As mentioned, the 5016 is the one to use for out of the box Edelbrocks. That’s the one I have done for me but with a few minor changes. Right now I only have them in 1.65 or 1.7 ratio. What did you need?

What was the cause of this if you dont me me asking?

I dont think they are Harland Sharp unless they made them for someone else in that color. I dont like the way they are chamfered on the corners where the pin goes through but Marks are like that and I dont think he has had an issue with them.
I bet they are some cheap knockoffs but I could certainly be wrong.

The color does look off, I think your right, they look like knockoffs unless he got them from Mark.
No I have a set of Marks here and they are definitely different.
They were red; it could be the lighting or green tint from the Penngrade 1. After not being able to get a replacement, I ended up giving the 15 good ones away.
The best part was all the carnage underneath- destroyed the chamber and bore, sent the valve stem into the water jacket, and the valve head through the piston. My best deduction is that the axle slid out, the wheel rolled back, knocking the locks off the valve tip. That was an expensive repair.
