Good crank or bad
Good crank or bad
Since #1 rod bearing spun I have a nice lip on the journal where the rod dug in. The crank rod journals had been cut .010 before. I'm getting a reading of 2.490 where #2 rod was and 2.4688 where #1 was at the lowest point. Now since the lip or raised area is maybe 180 degrees or half way around the journal and the difference is .0212, .0424 would have to be taken off to make the journal round again. Now .0424 plus the .010 equals .0524 and .040 is the limit I believe so if I did this correct, it also equals I'm out of luck.
Is the limit .040 and am I correct in my assumption? Thanks.

Will do. The crank needs a little work anyway, won't be worked on until next year most likely. I packed my engine pieces away in rubber maid containers and brought to the basement. Funs over for this year
