Flex plate

Hi guys, I need a flex plate for my olds 455 engine build. Do other GM makes work? If I go with an aftermarket, any particular brand that is of high-quality that won't break the bank? Thank you.

No, need a Olds one. Why not just get a stock replacement? Any parts store should have, or be able to get.

Flexplates on all 1968-1990 Olds V8 motors (except the FWD 307s) are the same and interchange. There's nothing special about any of them. Stock replacement will be fine.

I would also get a stock replacement. It would be cheaper than getting an aftermarket one and you can probably get one today at your local auto parts store.
