F head question?

F head question?
Did F heads have one side heat riser blocked off or did someone fill this? It don't want to come out but it almost looks like a plug from the inside. If it should not be there would it hurt to leave it in on only one side? These are the original set to my car so i don't want to try something i shouldn't.
On another note: I see many roller rocker kits need the holes drilled for a bigger stud. I am not going to do that to a set of F heads. With a roller cam and the stiffer springs, will the smaller stud hold up?

i knew about the smaller studs but i was wondering if the higher spring pressure for a roller cam (or other factors) would be to much for them. It will not be a crazy build and likely be under a 6000 RPM engine so I feel like they would be ok to use but don't want trouble either. I will look closer to the head. If i can get it out i will but if i can't will it affect anything only having one side plugged?

Somewhere I read, don't remember the source, that the smaller studs are good for 350 lbs spring pressure. Should be just fine for a street roller cam.
