Exhaust headers choices 70 Cutlass
Exhaust headers choices 70 Cutlass
Since the car originally came with a 350 and a 455 is now going in it, I need a pair of BBO in an A bod headers.
What say you oh sages of everything Olds?
455, 0.060" over, roller Crane 234/242@0.050", C heads worked for 78cc chambers, true 10.25:1 static CR, Holley Street Dom intake.
I would like to get 2" primary set into 3" collectors. Ceramic coated.
What's out there that won't break the bank, but isn't cheap crap either?
TIA,

TIA,
Years ago I talked to Jet Hot and they would coat any header sent to them. The price was not bad. My plan was to hammer the headers to fit, then get them coated afterwards. Dunno if that service is still available.
True, that's what I did with Nick Filippides' mild steel 2" G-bod headers when he first started making them when he was at Kook's Headers. Jet Hot did them and they came out great 13 years ago and are still great.
I could do that again if a good recommendation is made for mild steel headers that don't need hammer adjustment.

Get the Chinese stainless full length. Extremely cheap and very well made with 3/8" thick flanges. On a 455, you shouldn't have the mount interference issue I had on the drivers side only.
