Thought I would post this seperate from what oil to use which I always see a lot of posts on. I will be firing up my new 455 with 30 weight Brad Penn breakin oil. I will then be switching over to 20w 50 Bread Penn. Just wondering how many miles between the period of easy driving on breakin oil until you change over too 20w 50 ( or whatever you use every day) ?

 

The break in oil is just to break in the cam. When that is done you drain the oil and change the filter and go to your regular oil that you will run on the street/track/whatever. I'd change it again at 1000-1500 miles and then at normal intervals after that.
