Remember to boycott Lansing's Friedland Metals if you can
They had a cutaway engine on a stand and would not even entertain the notion of donating or selling to the Museum. Scrapped it.

Cool article but the amount of mistakes in there should be an embarrassment to Hemmings. I wonder if these were cast iron or if they were made from a lighter material to be more 'portable'

The ones I have seen were all factory iron, though often very different from production parts- thicker walls, for example.
