Panos I know Eagle rotating assemblies are pretty good as far as drag racing goes. I've personally never dealt with fastengineparts but with an E-bay Feedback Score Of 55230they are doing it right. My suggestion would be to e-mail them through E-bay to be sure of the shipping and customs price. That way there is a record and if you decide to purchase the parts, I'd do so, again through E-bay and pay with Paypal for further protection.

i've bought a few odds and ends from them... seem pretty good to me. that shipping almost seems too good to be true unless there is a distributor in europe that he works with.

Glad to hear you're considering that!

I've never dealt with them either but Eagle is good stuff. Just have it all checked beforehand.
Remember with your current heads and those pistons you'll still have close to 11.0:1 compression. That's still a bit much for 98RON and iron heads.

Keep us posted.

He'd need a gasket that is nearly .040 thicker than virtually anything else.

Here are his past specs;

.030 over, SRP pistons (5.5cc), approx. .015 in the hole= 3.5cc
78cc heads
Mr. Gasket Ultra seal head gasket, .039 compressed, 4.200 bore= 9cc
That gives you 10.85:1, too high for 98RON.

Panos, however if you're able to sub the Icon 886 for that Mahle and used the new Air Gap intake, it'll still be a beast, I promise. And you can get that 886 in .040 over. Might be something to think about. With the cam and carb you have it'll run great for sure.

Yes, you'll need to clearance it for the rods. You may even need to do that for the stock stroke with the Eagle H-beams.

I've bought several items from FastEngineParts.com (aka: Mad Dog Racing)...
always had good service and no problems.
