carb tuning ebrock 1411......750

Hey guys im running a new ebrock 750cfm and I want to tune it if possible for more power!!

I bought the tune up kit 1489 and have the chart of what the cab is stock and what it can be changed to. Would changing the metering rods and springs on the primary give it more snap off the line......my engine is a fresh 461...it runs great but would like more power off the line

Any guidance with this would be great!!!

Thanks

You really need some dyno time to do what you need. Otherwise you're looking at trial and error.....a lot of it.

And are you having issues off the line or something? I ran a 1407 right out of the box (all be it 20 years ago) and I couldn't keep tires on mine if I put my foot down.

the car runs great but it seems to struggle off the line...it will not shred the tires off the line....ita a 71 delta 88 2 door....g heads.....comp cam 262..... I think it has stock gears...3.08......and with this fresh engine build I was expecting more...but like I said it runs great....plugs are dark brwn in colour...2000 miles on new engine

maybe im reading it wrong.....could it be 7547....on the chart it says 1459 (075 x 047)

The car I had my 455 in was a 1970 Cutlass. I had a TH400 trans and a 2.56 posi rear. 300' - 400' burnouts were like melting butter on a hotplate easy.
This is the cam I had in the car:

Along with TRW (now SpeedPro) L2323 .030 pistons. Stock rockers and bridges with a Mallory Unilite distributor. I installed the cam 4° advanced and that thing just pulled like nothing.

EDIT: Oh yeah...I had "JUNK" J heads with just a clean up rebuild on them and never had any issues. I'm sure it would have run better with different heads, but honestly I really don't think it needed them with what I was getting out of it.
