Can I install T400 with manual trans crank?
Hi Guys,
I have 400 from my old '67 442- it has the manual transmission crank set up.
I'll be installing this motor in my '68 with t400...should i have any worries about mating these two together? Would love to get the gotchas cleared before I start.
Thanks

I just changed my 4speed to a turbo 400 this weekend in my '67 with NO problems.
After going through all my flex plates I found out how to tell the difference between the 330-400-425 and the 350-400-455 flex plates.
Good for swap meeting.
The 330-400-425 on the counter weight, the piece of metal welded to the flex plate has 8 holes and is cut at about a 45 degree angle on each side.
The 350-400-455 on the counter weight, also has the 8 holes and is cut about square angle on each side.
If I can figure out pictures I will post the difference.
Mike
