Cam question

I have a new cam that I am installing that has 4 degrees of advance built into it. But I'm using the true roller timing chain that was put in 2500 miles ago when build was originally done. I here that they put that 4 degrees advance in the cam so that if you install straight up chain will stretch assuming your using a new timing chain. Which I'm not and wasn't planning on do to low miles. So my question is if I install straight up could I possibly run into compression issues being that I'm running 9.5.1 cr on iron heads for 91 octane or should I use the 4 degree retard mark on sprocket. Hope that makes sense.

Cam spec
Dur. 240/240
Lift. .536/.536
Lsa. 110
Icl. 106 I think

Don't assume. Without checking there's no way to know where the cam timing is. There are too many variables that effect this.

And you KNOW this cam has 4 degrees advance built in???? HOW??? And do not assume that the "True Roller" timing chain is correct, either, or has NOT stretched!

I agree with Cutlassefi; the only way to know the true specs of the advance and the cam is to check it YOURSELF! If you don't know how to do this, find somebody that does!
