Brackets

Brackets

sorry to hijack but i have a 455 that had ac which im not using, that means i can use all my 350 brackets pulleys etc on the 455?

I moved your post because the old one was six months old. Yes, if the 350 is 1977 or older the brackets will work on the 455.

ok how about the pulleys it seems you need to also swap waterpumps?
side question will a 69 442 cam go into a 72 for a performance boost?

Pulleys, pump, and brackets must be used as a matched set for proper alignment since there are three different water pump lengths.

All 64-90 Olds V8 cams interchange, but cam profiles have come a long way since 1969.

Joe what is the differace in a hd water pump compared to a non a/c water pump? is it just a better pump? I just bought one at the parts store and they said it was just made better?

Thanks I was just wondering about the cam because the engine i just picked up was a 72 and the guy gave me a 68 or 69 cam i was just wondering if it would boost hp at all.
