boosted 455 ..?
I have a turbo set-up off a 351m400 ford truck that I think I can plumb onto a Olds engine...
can a "stock" 455 handle moderate boost at moderate rpm's ...
Will a smog motor be a good candidate as the boost will make up for the low compression plus a two into one exhaust might be the the way to go ... ...

Blown 455
Yes a "smog" motor usually does make a good blower motor. You might want to go thru it though just to make sure it's mechanically sound.
As far as longevity goes if you keep the boost light I'd think you should be fine. However if you plan on flogging it more than just every now and then then you may want to beef up the insides.

The race scene in L A sucks but Irwindale has an 1/8th mile. I just want to be faster than the diesels ...
