Does someone know the correct code for the factory LH exhaust manifold, as fitted to 1973 B bodied 455 cars with factory dual pipes? and will LH manifold “W”, part #402295 from an A body work?

Dual pipes (option N10) fitted with the towing pack option.

Not only will the 402295 W manifold fit, it was factory installed on the 71-72 full size cars with dual exhaust. The 412287 X manifold is equivalent in both fitment and flow as an alternate.

 

Thanks Joe, I've just seen thorntons new headers for BBO engines. I might see if they're a viable option.

I ran the W/Z manifolds for a time on my 71 98. They worked great!
