Hi,,, I have a 455 with a th400 and im looking for a machine shop in queens ny to do the work... Can someone recomend someone that knows how to work on these engines and of course someone reasonable... thanx in advance

 

I haven't seen anyone on here who lives around your way. I grew up in Ossining, N.Y., about 25 miles north of the Bronx on the Hudson. My brother is still there and the price f/ machine work is super high compared to here in Texas, where I've been since '81. Maybe if you go to National Speedway, or Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J., you can get info on some good Olds-knowledgable machine shops from some guys there who know quality machinists. I suppose you know, that you want a shop that knows Oldsmobile engines, not just a good machine shop. I've found there's a big difference. Good Luck.
