6? to 70 Thermostat housing question
Hi Guys,
On the aluminum thermostat housings with the curved bypass hose (the ones that went away after 1970) what does the large raised number mean on the side of the housing? So far I''ve seen the numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5 on different housings. Are these numbers tied to an application or a date code? They look identical otherwise, unless I'm not looking hard enough.
Anybody know?
