Thanks Joe. That's what I'm planning on doing after I check one more thing. I want to confirm that I did have the vacuum advance line plugged properly the last time I checked with the timing light. Did I screw up? I will check and let you know. Thanks again for your patience. Chuck.

OK guys I found the problem. I screwed up big time. When I rechecked the timing it was in the correct location. I didn't have the vacuum to the intake manifold properly sealed the first time. Thanks for your suggestions and your patience. Chuck
