455 update
If you been foloowing my post you will know what kind of problems i have been having,,but for those that havent let me break it down for you..I had a 1973 olds rebuilt,,,engine ran fine before the rebuild but smoked..I started off with just getting the heads done but decided not to chance it to it being bad rings causing it to smoke so i went ahead and got a full rebuild. Well after getting it back together i realized No # 1 was not firing,,It was getting spark but not firing..i noticed the plug was wet and then noticed a puddle of coolant on top of the manifold over No #1 cylinder,,,So we took the manifiold off and it did appear coolant was being sucked into # 1 because of the valley pan did not seal,,So i changed the valley pan and used plenty of sealant and rtv...Well when i got it done i noticed the front rubber seal popped out...So i lifted the intake back up and put the seal back in..Well after we got it back together it did the same thing but ran worse..So i was thinkin we really messed the seal up by lifting The intake back up,,The valley pan was under warranty so i went ahead and took the intake back off,,,cleaned all the rtv and sealand off and redid the pan...Well today we found tdc,,,made sure timing was all good and started it up..The damn No # 1 was still not firing the cylinder,,,,i was pissed...Now this time the plug was dry,,,no fuel,,no water on it...To make this story shorter,,,The vacuum fitting in the intake that went into the intake on the No 1 cylinder was losing to much vaccum due tot he wrong size hoses,,,We replaced the hoses and made sure their was no vaccum loss,,,,,BOOM,,,,it started right up ....And No 1 was firing
