Your story is a bit vague. A lot of glitter is an issue as your machine shop stated, but we don't know how much and where it was found. You also did not state the temp the engine reached. Apparently you have already chosen a direction.

Your problem is uncontrolled run-on. I'm talking about your sentences, not your engine. Not many people have the patience to read a post like that. If you don't care, why should we?

By your description, there are serious issues internally. You machinist is probably the most qualified to diagnose this issue. I'd wait for him to get to it.

You're not in English class; it's just that it is hard to read a long paragraph such as that when it has no punctuation. Simply putting a period at the end of each sentence makes it a lot easier for a reader to follow what you are saying.

As far as the engine overheating, the presence of metal in the oil signifies a lot of friction between metal parts, and friction generates heat.

They'll tell you your not in English class but you are, but they all took the time to read the post and reply....go figure?
I did that once and they hacked on me from everything from being a ham radio licensee to my education level, don't let em get to you, theirs a lot of good information here and a lot of good people here but can be a bit clicky.

Hey man, no offence, but find you caps button and your dot button. I like to read your posts but they make my head hurt.

No I didn't, I immediately noticed it was a jumbled mess so I quit reading. I know you don't particularly like me but please don't put words in my mouth.
Thank you.
