455 Headers

I am looking to buy headers for the 455 that will be going in the Cutlass . It's down to 2 choices: Dougs headers or American Racing. Both 1 7/8 with 3 1/2 collector.

Is anybody running these? My questions are: 1 any fitment problems and 2 how much ground clearance is there?

I have Hooker on the 350 and they are almost on the ground.

Thank you any input is much appreciated.

ARH fit my car perfect. They require a Powermaster or equivalent small starter..

Thank you,

Is there anybody running Doug's. They seem to be good quality, just wander how they fit.
They are about $200 cheaper, that would loosen up my budget for the electric fuel pump.

I wonder if the Doug's headers require a compact starter?

I have Doug headers on my 70 4SP. They fit good and look good. I have a Powermaster HD regular size starter, and works great. I have also had these headers on a 70 with a auto tran, column shift. I think Doug's headers are the best for the money.

Thank you guys.
I already have a mini starter on my 350 that will go on 455. My biggest concern is ground clearance.
