455 Header Installation

Looking for some assistance with installing a set of headers into a 70 442... 455 w/ SC Hookers... The engine is in place but not hooked up... Can you install these from under the car or do I need to pull the engine and lay the headers in place etc...

Thanks in advance!!!

Joe

Need to remove the starter, and the oild filter housing. You may also have to lift the engine a little. Also will have to move the brake perportion valve.

Would it be better to install while the engine is being rebuilt?

I usually use the leadfoot magazine used to be gearhead and they list all the local shows. I know roselle's cruise nights start soon.

Very nice engine! What fuel pump are you using? And what kind of cam do you have? I ask because I ran out of gas using a mechanical pump but I couldn't fit anything bigger than a stock pump w/ the Edelbrock heads.
