455 build help

Hi, Fairly new to this forum... I would like some help making some decisions on my engine/car build. I am replacing the 350 in my 72 442 conv. auto with a 455, the engine is from a 68 toro. It is being bored .030 over C heads large vavles, I removed the AIR bumps, filled the crossovers, I went with the comp cam 42-228-4, roller rocker kit, having it balanced, KB pistions going for 10:1 comp.
Cant decide
I have W and Z manifolds or go to headers
Stock intake or ??
Q- jet or ??
Gear ratio
Exhaust size and make
Ignition system
Stall convertor RPM
This car is going to be a weekend driver, not looking for a race set up, just looking for something that pulls hard and is fun to drive. Guess I am asking is it worth going to aftermarket headers, intake, carb etc. much gain?
Thanks
I have searched this alot, I think I am more indecisive now Just want an opinion from guys that have a set up close to mine that works.

cast manifolds are fine for the street.
Long tube headers have ground clearance problems. Headman shorty heads are a good choice.
After market intake is better choice, easy to work with.
Q-jet is a very good carb.
If you have 2.56 ratio it is better to go to 3.23 for a happy medium.
A nice 2 1/2 system with a X-pipe and pipes all the way back. I like the Dynamax sys.
A good "HEI" sys will be perfect.
For just a hot street car, a 2200/2500 will be very good.
