425 forged pistons
425 forged pistons
I am looking at D.S.S. racing pistons for my 425 build.
Thinking of using the Pontiac 428 pistons if I can get them
with a .927 pin diameter. Anyone use these? They seem legit,
decent price too.

Where are you? Your account info is not complete. I have a very nicely built 425 that has a cracked block that would be a great source for rebuilding another block.

Try these, you can find them on the internet for less than what's advertised.

Deck the block to 10.600. Use a .028 thick head gasket and the standard 80cc BBO head and you'll have about 9.75:1 with the piston in a .030 over. You can adjust it from there if you like.
Plus this piston has the same size pin as a standard Olds rod.
