425 engine noise

Just joined the forum and very new to older engines/cars (this is my first "classic car" I don't know much but I'm learning) My 1965 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight has the 425 and it's making a noise that I can't pin point, was wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction as to a possible cause. I attached a video clip, it's short and had to lower the quality. Appreciate the help if any.

Here is some general info on where I stand with it.

93 octane fuel always
Oil level is where it should be (checked daily)
Just did an oil change 100ish miles ago: WIX filter, VR1 Valvoline 20/50 high zinc
OIL Pressure: Idle 35 psi Driving 40-55 psi

Sounds like 2 things, rocker arms and an exhaust leak. Pop the valve covers off and then listen, make sure all the rockers have oil flowing.

Copy that. I know of the exhaust leak, getting ready to pull valve covers off now. Greatly appreciate the input!

Here's another vote for something in the valve train. A mechanic's stethoscope might help to narrow it some. Check for lube at the rockers and looseness in the valve trains.

Well after checking a few things turns out it wasn’t the engine making the noise, it was a cracked flex plate.

I've seen that on a couple of 403s. First time on a BBO though.

sounds like a lifter. I’d pull the valve covers to make sure a rocker arm pedestal isn’t broke or loose. Check push rods to make sure one is not loose. If it’s under the valve covers I don’t think it will be hard to spot.

i do and it is secure, we replaced the flex plate and new lifters are going in today. Lobes on the cam look fine, rockers, springs and push rods are ok. So hopefully this new set of lifters does the trick. 2 of the lifters don’t appear to be letting through the oil like the rest so fingers crossed.
