Seems I have learned the Olds engine hard parts problem. Thanks to Coldwar I found several places that sell them Two vendors leveled with me as to the cost. Olds parts are the highest priced. Supply on demand as usuall. One guy told me he could sell the same parts for a 326 hemi for half the cost. $2000.00 seems to be going rate for what I need to bring the 371 back to factory fresh. Oh well, live and learn and die and forget it all as the saying goes. Both the engine and trans must come out of the 60 Olds and it looks like pulling the engine first is a better way to go. That way I won't need the rear engine support fixture. I would like to attach pics but still a newbie.Phil
