Question 350 to 455 swap

This has probably been asked 1000 times. I am putting a 1970 455 in my 1970 cutlass cv. It was factory 350. My question is, can I use my existing frame pads and motor mounts from the 350 engine.

You're right, do a search.

Yes. Not only "can" you, you "need" to. Otherwise you would have to swap out both the frame and engine mounts.

x2 on what cutlassefi said. Just search 350 455 swap and you'll find a ton of information.

Good Luck!!

Use the 350 motor mounts, with the 350 frame pads, and everything will line up.

For the few bucks it costs I'd replace the 41 year old motor mounts anyway, Way easier to do it now than after one pops and you have to replace it in the car.

They are brand new. I had to replace them. The fan was rubbing the lower part of the shroud. They must have been pretty squashed!
