I am looking at replacing the flexplate on my 394, I want to make sure the teeth count is correct. If anyone has a link to the proper one, it would be greatly appreciated.

There is no "flexplate " in a '63 Olds .
There is an iron flywheel , similar to a stick shift flywheel . And a " damper " ( #24 ) which connects the trans to the flywheel .
The flywheel has 166 teeth .

Hi once more! After numerous hours in the carport, my motor is finaly remade and situated in the vehicle. This is the place where my next issue occured: The motor turned fine in the motor stand, yet when I mounted it to the transmission, it would not turn any longer. I have turned the flexplate so the two vissible jolts from the force converter line up with the openings in the flexplate, this would imply that the excess (presently covered up there) openings additionally line up? Do I need to move the converter in reverse towards the transmission? I have mounted the motor and transmission togheter with the 4 jolts in the highest point of the transmission and the transmission is likewise mounted to the back motor/transmission mount. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1
