Numerous issues on this one...turns over but wont catch, then catches but idles low and rough and stalls when dropped into drive. Then sometimes running ok then just dies and then floods before it will start again. Engine bay has supplemental electric fuel pump. New plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, condenser. No smoke when running. New battery.

 

Check the rubber sections in the fuel line- if they are original then they wil be deteriorated, check fuel filter in carb or bottom of fuel pump if electric pump pushes fuel through the old pump ...any original rubber parts (vacuum hoses) under the hood should be replaced...I put a Pertronix ignition in last month and it works great
