Don't know what happened to the story that went with the pictures, so here is the short version. The car was bought locally this past Saturday. I believe I'm now the third owner. According to the paperwork that went with the car this is #222 of the final 500. Although it has some cosmetic blemishes and wear on the front seats, it still presents itself very well. 116K miles. It runs great but did notice some drops of oil under it today. I'll have to see what's happening to make sure a small problem doesn't become a major issue.

Looks very good in and out. And I'm sure the engine still has its pep.

Yes, the engine moves the car right along very well. It doesn't have the same acceleration as my daily driver 2016 Charger R/T, but the Aurora only had 250 hp and a 4-speed automatic. Hard to compare the 2.

Phil, congrats on this purchase! You will find it's nice to have a more modern Olds for some of the more distant car shows that you can drive instead of trailer there, such as, next year's Nationals perhaps? There is always a good sized contingent of final 500 cars at the show. THat car was on sale for a decent price, I'm glad you got it

Since it's a final 500 you'd probably want to keep the OE engine, but you might want to put a heli-coil kit in the engine. Check out this thread.

For those leather seats, I'd recommend Leather Mate cleaner and conditioner, I have been using it for decades. It does the job in keeping the leather seats soft. In fact, the leather seats in my 2014 Ford F-150, after 10 years and 114,000 miles look good as new. Of course keeping seat towels on them in the summer and sheepskin seat covers on them in the winter also helped...........
