I have an 01 Aurora with the original battery. I would like to know how to get the back seat out to replace the battery. Also since that battery is inside the passeneger compartment do I ned to buy a certain battery to prevent gassing inside the passenger compartment?

 

On my 02 Aurora I just lifted up the front of the back seat at each corner and the bottom will come off. There are vents on the battery and vent tubes beneath the seat. Just make sure you hook everything back up. One tip for your seat belts. Snap the restraint to the seat bottom "locks" before you reinstall the rear seat bottom.

It's not too hard to replace the battery, just take your time and it will be good.
