I'm about to order new kick panels with speakers (for 1968 Holiday Coupe):

My car doesn't have a running AC, but the controls show a switch for AC. Is this a good enough indicator to order the kick panels with AC?

Based on this and your other post about the vents not working, I have to wonder exactly how your car is configured. Is it an A/C car or not? Do you have the large fiberglass HVAC box on the passenger side of the firewall or the smaller metal one for heater only? Do you have pull-out ***** on the kick panels for vents or not? Do you have vents in the dashboard pad or not? This is not difficult to determine. If the car is an A/C car, you need the A/C kick panels due to the vacuum operated vent in the passenger side kick panel. Also, if this IS an A/C car, getting it to work won't cost anywhere near $2500.

i currently have about 10 of the units that go into the right kick panel complete with vacuum port

 

Do thay hace speaker mounts built into them, he's not looking for stock pieces
