Looking for:
4.33 or 3.91 posi rear
front disc brake kits
new springs
polyurethane body bushings

First Welcome aboard
Second, I read you have a 69 W-30 w/ the wrong engine and rear.
Tell us where you're going with the project
Why would you want disc on a W-30?
Zorry jes let us know which a way you're going and I'm certain we can help

While I understand that you want to upgrade your brakes, be aware that a 69 W-30 was only available with manual drum brakes. These cars are pretty rare, so if it were mine, I'd look for a correct 400 motor (and bend over when I bought the D heads
) and restore it stock.

It is hard to talk cars without talking history; however, the history hijacks the thread at some point. I would be happy to give you the story of priests442…it is a good one…a now 40 year one….for another thread though!
We simply do not have the wherewithal to track down a 400 and then go through the trouble of figuring out what we are getting. The 455 was a dealer replacement and has about 22k Dad driven miles. We know it top to bottom.
Not certain of his desire to go disc other than that it seems Dad's goal is to make the car drivable, not a showpiece or big buck auction block material. The car will pass to me and to my son and so on...
It has an incorrect open rear…and we want to put a posi back in…came with 4.33…but 3.91 would be acceptable. NOTE: will have a 2.56 open available after the swap.
Of course, all wear and tear suggestions desired (bushings, springs, etc.). The car is a few quick changes away from rearing its nasty head…I’ll start putting together some historical information…thanks again fellas.
