Very pretty car.
What kind of options does it have? The mileage is low. Is this a ramrod 350?
It's really hard to say what it would be worth. The picture is really too small to make any comments about. And, with no disrespect intended, many people say they have an original unmolested car because that's what the previous owner said. You need to have some documentation to back this up. And a lot more pictures that show the actual condition of the interior, engine detail, trunk detail, undercarriage etc. That is not in your post, so it's like buying something with no real information. If you have something that's really that cherry, and have the documentation, I don't think you would have problems with getting yor price. Heck you might get more. I also really like the look of the 69.

There is a 69 conv. on Ebay right now. Looks to be really nice. "Buy it now" price
is $26,900. This one is a dealers car. Might help you out as something to compare to.

 

That's the kind of paperwork that will help you get top dollar ...

 

The documentation you have is great. If you check under the front or rear seat, you might find an original broadcast sheet tucked into the springs. That would be a real clincher.

Usually the evilbay buy it now (dealers) are quite a bit higher than the market will support. The other thing you should take into account is that a vert typically brings in bigger $$ than a hardtop coupe.

Can you post some more pictures that show the nice details of this car? It would be worth seeing. An "unmolested" car in pristine shape is hard to come by. They only seem to "miraculously" appear when Barrett-Jackson does their thing in Scottsdale and Florida.

So, here's one more thing you can do that should satisfy your curiosity and give you a set value. GET IT PROFESSIONALLY APPRAISED by a classic car appraiser. They will ask for your documentation and do a thorough check of the interior and exterior. They will have you operate the car to demonstrate its mechanical ability. They will also ask for any service history documents you have. All good appraisers have a lot of reference material to base their assessment on and are usually car buffs whose dedicated hobby is to go see and touch other cars that are usually "hands off" at most Motor ramas or show "N shines. Shop around and find one with a good rep. I just paid $200.00 to get mine appraised and it's a good thing I did. My insurance was undervaluing the car.

I once had my wife calll me at work because the appraiser couldn't get my hood open on my '69 442. I told her if he couldn't get it open he should find another line of work. Alot of guys don't insure their cars for the correct value and then screw themselves when they get whacked or the thing burns to the ground. I myself have yet to insure my Cutty for what it's worth. Gotta get the rear end finished first. Right now it costs 100 dollars a year to insure. I have a friend who has an original 70 R/T Charger that was being insured for 7500. He got it appraised and is now paying about 475 per year but the replacement cost is 62,000 dollars. Big difference!

 

Dan, that's a nice ride. Where are the exhaust tips? Just curious.

 

475 for a 62000 car doesn't sound like such a bad deal. Heck, some of the kids on the block are paying that much just to drive for 1 month. You can shop around for insurance for specialty cars or restorations. Don't just accept the first quote. You might have to do a state wide or national search to get the best value. But, have all your ducks in a row when you give them the information about your car and what you've got into it. Otherwise......
My recent appraisal is only good for 2 years, but it's only based on what's been done to the car. Doesn't cover all the add ons I've got standing by. I would strongly recommend an appraisal now instead of waiting, unless the rear end project will be done in a week. If it's something that could drag on (especially when money doesn't flow like water) 100 bucks for an immediate appraisal is like money in the bank until you need it reassessed.
