I hate to ask this because I guess I should know the answer, but I had a '68 Cutlass with 14" wheels that were original as far as I know. I bought a '72 Cutlass and it also has 14" wheels. The speedometer is reading about 15mph fast and the question came up as to whether a '72 had 14" or 15" wheels. I know tire height/size, rear end ratio, etc., can effect the speedometer, but I'm curious as to what size tires it came from the factory with.

 

72 came with 14 inch.
