72 Hood Hinge Springs

I'm sorry for the previous thread about hood hinges.
It should have read Hood Hinge Springs.

I'm trying to find out what springs to get to replace mine, which won't hold the hood up anymore.
The ones I got from the Parts Place were for an all fiberglass hood.
Does anyone know if the hinges for the OEM all steel hood like the Cutlass Supreme has are the same springs as for the OEM W25 fiberglass / steel hood.
OPG and Year One are not very confident as to which springs are the correct ones.
Thanks Jeff .

Just a thought, but it might not be just the springs...the 69-72 hinges are notorious for just getting sloppy enough not to hold up your hood. I went through two sets before a third set firmly held up the hood on my '69 4-4-2. You might have to get your current hinges rebuilt or find another set.

Like Randy said it’s the hinges. If they’ve never been touched they are worn out. I’m in the same boat have tried 3 different sets of springs none will hold my hood up!
