After I sold my 48,000 original mile original paint 1979 Hurst Olds about a year ago I felt ill after I did. A few months later i bought a 86 442 and as much as I like it, I've spent entirely too much money in this car and has been a pain in my you know what mechanically.
Got a call from a customer saying there is a 1980 442 ten miles away. Believe it or not there is the exact car only 2 miles away that I've been trying to buy for years but it







has set outside for 20 and is in really awful shape.
So after traveling the ten miles I bought it on the spot as I just could not not buy it. Didn't plan on buying anything else but 2 1980 442 in the same area I'd have felt crummy if I walked away.
New rebuilt engine, trans, windshield, radiator, fuel pump, carburetor, plugs, wires, brakes, spindles, true dual exhaust and 4 tires. The sad part is this car is in way better shape mechanically than the 86 442 I bought. Damn I wish I had have seen this first.
